May she Rest In Peace, She will be missed but not forgotten. May you all find comfort and healing as you reminisce over the memories of her time with you. Now, to find out that we lost her only days later, I am so grateful that we toasted her (with Hotel Del” champagne – a must have at our lunches) and honored her for being the special person she was.Īlthough it took us too long to find out that she had passed, it still leaves an emptiness in my heart. We missed Karen being with us this past year. She introduced us to the “Del” at Christmas so much so that it became a tradition for us to go in early December for lunch, watch the ice skaters on the beach, take pictures by the Christmas tree in the lobby, and of course, shop! BTW- I don’t think she would’ve liked the upside down tree this past year! There was never a time when she did not share stories of the latest happenings and her love for her family. I am one of 3 former co-workers at Pacific Marine Credit Union who would meet at her house for “Happy Hour”. In 2016, she announced that she had a third daughter it is not known whether. In this case, it is known that he worked very hard to support his two little oneswhile her grandmother took care of her. Today, I heard of Karen’s passing and was so saddened by it.
